The college of Inter religious studies  broadly speaking, the purpose of the ACU area of concentration in Inter-religious Studies is to foster the study of multiple religious traditions, their practitioners, and their expressions in different cultural contexts. This area is designed to be open to studies that are oriented to fields within both theological studies and religious studies. Topics of focus and methodologies might include historical and contemporary relations between religious traditions, comparative theology, comparative religion, inter-religious dialogue, and inter-religious pastoral practices.

 

The School of Inter-Religious Studies is a forum for academic, social, and timely issues affecting religious communities around the world. It is designed to increase the quality and frequency of interchanges between religious groups and their leaders. The School seeks to build an inter-religious community of scholars, in which people of different traditions learn from one another and work together for the common good
